On Thursdays T4 Technology in Bunbury runs workshops. Our aim with these Workshops is to reduce the learning curve for people who are new to Mac or iPad.
These Workshops are offered free to people that buy computers from T4. If you didn’t purchase your Mac from T4, each workshop is $55. Alternatively you can book in for three workshops at $110.

Getting Started with your Mac – Got a new Mac? Learn how easy it is to use a Mac at this Getting Started Workshop. We’ll show you the basics of the Mac, where files are stored, how the Dock works and the new terminology.
Mavericks Essentials – OS X Mavericks will let you have more fun, and be more productive, no matter how you use your Mac. This Essentials workshop expands on the Getting Started Workshop, going into Email, Safari, Mission Control and gestures.
iPhoto for Mac – Find out why iPhoto makes it easier than ever to organize, enhance, and share your entire digital photo collection. Now with the Faces and Places features iPhoto really is the only photo management application you will need. We also cover how to make a photo book and the new Photo Stream service that is part of iCloud.
iMovie for Mac – iMovie has been refined and it’s going to change the way you make movies. We will take you through the basics of organising your clips, choosing a theme, and editing your project. Then we go through using titles, effects, and transitions, adding photos and audio. And once you have finished your movie we will show you how to share it with friends and family.
iPad Essentials – At this workshop we’ll explore iPad: email, settings, switching between different apps, organising, watching movies, listening music, reading books and making FaceTime calls. You will also learn about a few the apps from the App Store. Bring along your questions and App suggestions to share with each other.
iPad & iTunes – We’ll explore iTunes and learn why it is the best digital jukebox with the #1 music store inside. You’ll learn to import and organize your music, burn CDs, buy music or audio books from the iTunes Music Store, create playlists, and share your music. And with iPad, you can take your favourite music and even photos with you wherever you go.
